B-flat six-key bugle by John Townsend, Manchester, England. Dates to about 1820. Copper body with brass keys and trim. Bell garland engraved "Townsend Manchr." Probably High Pitch. Length is 17-3/8"; bell diameter is 6-1/8". No pigtail, bits, nor mouthpiece. Sold as-found, needing complete overhaul. •••SOLD•••

Very good unrestored condition except for 2 splits at the bellrim. Comes with original mouthpiece, lyre, cleaning rod & case in fair condition. •••SOLD•••
